Holga Photography

A few years ago, I was searching for a fun photography class to attend and the majority of offerings had titles like "Beginning Digital Photography" or "Learning Your Camera". There was one class that I found which had the title: "Holga and Alternative Processing". This tiny plastic camera taught me to embrace the unexpected and reignited my passion for film. It also helped me to fall in love with landscape and nature photography, which I previously had little interest in pursuing. This year we'll be taking my Holgas on our travels (ahhh fun with airport security) so there will be lots of 120 film posts in the future!

Awesome. I love the ones of the flowers. :) I *just* got a Holga (as in, I haven't even taken a picture with it yet, as I'm trying to decide how much I should tape it up) so I'll probably have questions about it at some point.

Jessica: There's a great link (which I found after the class, lol) that talks about using the camera:

Kate these are fantastic. Ok, it's settled. If you can make a "toy" camera take such wonderful scenic photographs you can do anything!

LOVE THEM!
